How the Venture Began?
Kamyab Jawan Program is the soul of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to empower youth being the most precious asset of Pakistan. The journey started with the establishment of Youth Affairs Wing with an aim to empower young people with skills set, resources & self-reliance opportunities by initiating a grand youth development program catering multiple domains.
SAPM Youth Affairs
Appointment of Usman Dar as Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs.
Development of NYDF
Established the core concept of 3 E’s_ Education, Employment & Engagement after in-depth consultation with relevant leaders, civil service officials and UN agencies, INGOs & youth representatives. Recommendations regarding development of NYD Framework were presented in subsequent meetings with Federal & Provincial Youth Ministers & other relevant government departments/ministries which ultimately led to the official launch of NYDF.

Constitution of National Youth Council comprising of 33 members with outstanding achievements.

Formal launch of Prime Minister’s Kamyan Jawan Program after approval of budget

Commencement of Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme for provision of business loans to young entrepreneurs.
Skills for All
Launch of Skills for All (Hunarmand Pakistan) Program to empower youth with in-demand skills for better job prospects.
PM’s Tigers Force
Launch of PM’s Tigers Force for voluntary services & civic engagement.
Revival of YES
Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme resumed with easier terms & conditions and increase in loan amount up to 25 Million PKR.
Reconstitution of NYC
Initial Process for Re-formation of National Youth Council started.
PM’s Kamyab Kisan
An offshoot of Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme with more focus on the progress & economic stability of farmers.
To ensure provision of Quality Education, Gainful Employment and Meaningful Engagement to youth through integrated, dynamic and sustainable youth-centered initiatives.
