UNDP to Help Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Devise a Youth Employment Roadmap
Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, held a meeting with a UNDP delegation along with its adviser, Dr Adil Najam to develop an effective roadmap for youth employment in the country. Dr Adil Najam gave a detailed presentation on various UNDP’s programs aimed at creating a facilitating environment for youth in deprived and underdeveloped areas of the country. Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar appreciated the efforts of UNDP in creating jobs and promoting entrepreneurship culture in the country. He urged upon them to align their initiatives with the proposed National Youth Development Framework of the Government, and to develop a targeted and impactful intervention for the creation of gainful jobs for the Pakistani youth.
