Kamyab Jawan launchs digital dashboard for ‘Skills for All’ project

Kamyab Jawan digital dashboard has been officially launched for ‘Skills for All’ project during the Press Conference held by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib and SAPM on Youth Affairs Usman Dar. On launching of digital portal, SAPM on Youth Affairs said the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme was making the data of Hunarmand Skills for All Programme public whereas around 101,000 youth were being benefitted. SAPM on Youth Affairs said that the programme was becoming successful among the youth due to its prosperity that resulted in manifold surge of its beneficiaries. Farrukh Habib, while addressing the press conference, said that there was massive increase in economic activity in the country under Kamyab Jawan Programme, created more than 50,000 employment opportunities for the youth in different sectors. Under the Vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the SAPM said Rs 10 billion were allocated for ‘Skill for All’ project to provide 200,000 skill based scholarships with the aim to bring the youth under digital skill net. Usman Dar said 38,000 scholarships were given in Punjab, 20,000 in Sindh, 10,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,000 in Balochistan, 2,000 each in Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan and 13,000 in Azad Kashmir. He said 40% of the scholarships were given to the women.
